WORMWOOD from the enCORE collection by reSAWN TIMBER co. features antique reclaimed chestnut for flooring or wall cladding.
WORMWOOD’s color can range from light tans to deep browns. Truly unique, American Chestnut is a species that is now effectively extinct due to an extreme blight at the turn of the 20th century that all but wiped out the species. The blight left behind a mass of fallen timbers used for countless homes and buildings throughout the remainder of the century and now providing a source for this beautiful reclaimed wood.
Typical character marks include mineral staining, color changes, weathering, checking, nail holes, knots and a generous amount of worm holes.
WORMWOOD is available unfinished or prefinished with hardwax oil or urethane.
