WORMWOOD by reSAWN TIMBER co. features ANTIQUE RECLAIMED CHESTNUT – for flooring or wall cladding.
WORMWOOD’s color can range from light tans to deep browns. Truly unique, American Chestnut is a species that is now effectively extinct due to an extreme blight at the turn of the 20th century that all but wiped out the species. The blight left behind a mass of fallen timbers used for countless homes and buildings throughout the remainder of the century and now providing a source for this beautiful reclaimed wood.
Typical character marks include mineral staining, color changes, weathering, checking, nail holes, knots and a generous amount of worm holes.
WORMWOOD is available unfinished or prefinished with matte polyurethane.
