The exterior exudes character with a combination of VETTE charred Kebony and CUSTOM FSC®-Certified Accoya cladding, selected for their striking aesthetic and durability. CLEAR Abodo Vulcan decking and CUSTOM Accoya ceiling cladding extend toward the private yard and pool, transforming the outdoors into a sanctuary where design and nature convene.
A curated palette of textures and finishes elevate the interior; VETTE charred Kebony offers a bold accent paired with the warmth and natural appeal of ROCKPORT North American black walnut flooring and ceiling cladding. Expansive windows invite an abundance of natural light, illuminating the interior and enhancing the home’s understated luxury.
Technical Support and Highlights:
Main Street Contemporary artfully unites a variety of wood species, textures, and finishes into a cohesive design that reflects the homeowner’s vision and distinguishes the residence. Partnering closely with DeLuca Design Build from the earliest stages of product selection through final installation, reSAWN’s Specification Consultants ensured every detail aligned with the unique design vision and supported long-term performance. Highlights of the solution include:
- Product Selection: To achieve the desired balance of sophistication and durability, reSAWN provided a wide range of product samples to identify the ideal mix of materials and finishes. Because the homeowners wanted their expansive backyard and outdoor living space to feel like a natural extension of the home, the design choice emphasized continuity between indoors and out. CUSTOM Accoya ceiling cladding was installed on the covered deck, visually bridging the exterior with the interior finish of ROCKPORT North American Black Walnut flooring and ceiling cladding. VETTE Shou Sugi Ban Kebony was also carried inside, forming a bold accent wall that further reinforces the seamless connection between spaces.
- Product Customization: reSAWN produced custom-milled VETTE cladding for an interior accent wall that conceals cabinetry and a secret door to the adjoining room. This bespoke element highlights the craftsmanship and personalized solutions that elevate the residence’s character.
- End-to-End Project Support: reSAWN remained actively involved throughout design and construction, providing hands-on technical guidance and product expertise during installation. By sharing best practices for installation, cleaning, and maintenance, our team helped ensure long-term performance and success of the project.
