Exterior Material Selection
NIGIRI charred wood cladding is incorporated into a series of vertical slats that provide privacy while allowing abundant natural light to filter through the home’s expansive central glazing. The same material extends to the exposed deck beams, creating a cohesive architectural language across the exterior.
Selected for its enhanced durability and dimensional stability, the acetylated modified NIGIRI delivers the long-term performance required for demanding exterior applications while offering the rich character of a traditional charred wood finish.
Customization & Technical Support
From the earliest stages of design, RESAWN collaborated closely with the project team to develop custom wood components that aligned with the home’s architectural vision. Discussions surrounding weathering expectations, maintenance, and material detailing ensured the selected products would perform as intended over time.
