Flatrock Motorclub is a private motorsports community in Tennessee centered around a 3.5-mile road course designed for luxury automotive enthusiasts. As the community continues to expand, new residential offerings—including garage lofts, paddock garages, villas, and future hospitality spaces—are transforming the development into a destination that extends beyond the racetrack.
To support this expansion, VOYA acetylated modified wood was selected for the exterior cladding and trim of the first 26 garage lofts, each featuring a large paddock garage with a two-bedroom residence above. The deep black finish and visible wood grain complement the industrial architecture while providing a durable material suited to Tennessee’s climate.
The project features VOYA for both exterior cladding and trim. Accoya’s® patented acetylation process delivers exceptional dimensional stability, durability, and resistance to rot, making it well suited for long-term exterior performance. The rich black finish provides a refined architectural appearance while allowing the natural grain of the wood to remain visible, reinforcing the development’s modern industrial aesthetic.
As the project expanded from an initial 10 buildings to 26 garage lofts, RESAWN worked closely with the ownership and construction team to support the evolving construction schedule. A dedicated Project Manager coordinated production, phased deliveries, and ongoing communication to ensure materials arrived in sequence with each building’s construction timeline.
Throughout the project, RESAWN has continued to provide installation guidance, shipment coordination, and on-site technical support as needed. Multiple site visits have helped address field conditions, answer installation questions, and support the successful execution of each phase. With the current development delivered in phases and future expansion already planned, RESAWN remains an active partner as additional garages, villas, residences, and hospitality buildings move into construction.
