Millwood Residence

Nestled on nearly seven wooded acres in Great Falls, Virginia, the Millwood Residence was designed to grow with the family while embracing its natural surroundings. Located near Difficult Run, the home emphasizes indoor-outdoor living with generous entertaining spaces that connect seamlessly to the surrounding landscape. A carefully curated palette of natural materials—including stone veneer, metal roofing, and multiple natural wood products—creates a residence that is both refined and deeply rooted in its environment. The material palette extends throughout the home, with custom wood cladding enriching both the exterior and key interior spaces, including the hearth room and entry foyer.
