Aventino is a vibrant bi-level restaurant that reimagines traditional Roman cuisine while celebrating Chef Mike’s Italian-Jewish heritage. The thoughtfully curated interior layers earthy neutrals, deep greens, and rich mustard tones with classic Italian motifs and hand-selected artwork, creating a warm, immersive dining experience that feels both timeless and contemporary.
Anchoring the space is TOFF European White Oak flooring, whose natural warmth balances the restaurant’s expressive material palette while providing a refined backdrop for guests. The result is a welcoming hospitality environment that reflects the culture, craftsmanship, and storytelling central to the restaurant’s identity.
The restaurant features TOFF European White Oak flooring, selected for its rich tonal character, durability, and ability to withstand the demands of a high-traffic hospitality environment. The flooring’s warm color palette and character-grade appearance complement the European-inspired interior, adding authenticity and natural texture throughout the dining spaces.
Engineered for long-term commercial performance, TOFF undergoes a fuming process that enriches the wood’s natural color while enhancing dimensional stability and resistance to wear. The smooth, durable surface simplifies maintenance while contributing to a healthier indoor environment. As a natural material, European White Oak also supports biophilic design by introducing warmth and visual comfort, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests and staff alike.
RESAWN collaborated with the design team to identify a flooring solution that balanced aesthetic goals with the performance requirements of a busy restaurant environment. TOFF European White Oak was selected for its distinctive color, character-grade appearance, and engineered construction, allowing the flooring to complement the project’s European-inspired design while providing lasting durability.
Through close coordination during the specification process, the flooring was tailored to integrate seamlessly with the restaurant’s finishes, helping bring the design vision to life while meeting the operational demands of hospitality.
