Project Overview
Tucked away in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, Main Line Residence is a thoughtfully renovated home that enhances both functionality and everyday living. The project introduced a new study, den, and reimagined front entry, creating a refined arrival experience while seamlessly integrating the new spaces with the existing home.
At the heart of the renovation is a custom European White Oak herringbone floor, bringing warmth, texture, and timeless elegance to the interior while complementing the home’s contemporary architectural details.
Material Selection & Performance
The entry and adjoining living spaces feature KIP European White Oak flooring installed in a custom herringbone pattern, creating a sense of movement and visual continuity throughout the home. The warm, natural tones of the wood balance the home’s modern finishes, resulting in an interior that feels both sophisticated and inviting.
Because herringbone installations require precise proportions and careful coordination, RESAWN worked closely with the project team to tailor the flooring to the home’s design vision. Custom sizing, finish selection, and pattern layout ensured a clean, balanced installation that enhances the architectural character of the space while delivering the durability and timeless appeal of premium European White Oak.
