In 2020, Otter Air, a boutique charter airline in Grand Rapids, MA, partnered with OTJ Architects to design a new terminal and headquarters that redefines luxury private aviation. The terminal combines state-of-the-art amenities, including multiple lounges, a bar, a family suite, and workspaces, to elevate both passenger and staff experiences. The design emphasizes clear views of the hangar and runway, reflecting Otter Air’s cutting-edge aircraft, while embracing the brand’s playful identity and a culture of hospitality. Contemporary design features, like European White Oak flooring, enhance the visual appeal and create a cohesive atmosphere.

White Oak Rift & Quarter is favored for its linear grain pattern and ray flecks, creating a sophisticated, elegant look that is highly prized in high-end designs. Its uniform appearance makes it ideal for modern and minimalist aesthetics. Known for its exceptional durability and stability, Rift and Quarter White Oak resists warping and wear, making it an excellent investment for residential and commercial projects.
