Aventino is a lively and inviting bi-level restaurant that brings a fresh take on traditional Roman cuisine while paying homage to Chef Mike’s Italian-Jewish heritage. The interior is layered with earthy neutrals, deep greens, and golden mustard tones, evoking a timeless Roman aesthetic. The use of classic Italian motifs and hand-selected framed illustrations enhances the storytelling aspect of the space. The European White Oak flooring provides a natural foundation, balancing the bold elements with a refined touch.
Wood flooring is a distinguished choice for hospitality spaces, combining timeless elegance with practical benefits. Its natural beauty adds sophistication, while its durability withstands high-traffic demands. The smooth surface simplifies maintenance and supports a cleaner, healthier environment, and the wood’s natural insulation enhances energy efficiency.
Project Needs: The client was looking for a flooring option that could withstand high foot traffic while offering a clean aesthetic that complemented the restaurant’s interior décor and design.
Project Solutions: TOFF European White Oak was chosen for its durability and stability, enhanced through a fuming process (or natural treatment) that deepens its color and strengthens its structure, making it more resistant to wear and tear. The tonal qualities of the wood flooring and its character grade complemented the European-inspired interior design.
Project Results: The overall design creates a welcoming and vibrant environment, perfectly reflecting the culture and essence of the restaurant.
