Hamilton’s Restaurant at the Godfrey Hotel offers a welcoming, refined dining experience in the vibrant Corktown District of Detroit, MI. Honoring the legacy of Hamilton Carhartt, whose factory once prospered on this historic site, the 3,700 square foot restaurant offers indoor seating for 93 guests, accompanied by an outdoor patio for additional visitors. With a menu highlighting local, seasonal ingredients and an extensive beverage program, Hamilton’s is a destination for locals and visitors alike.
CUSTOM European White Oak flooring is a defining element of Hamilton’s, setting the tone for a warm, inviting dining experience. The natural wood tones and texture contrast with the cool color palette of the décor and accentuate the 14-foot ceilings and custom lighting. Intricate millwork and antique brass accents complement the design, creating a stylish, welcoming atmosphere.
European white oak is easy to maintain and offers exceptional durability. Engineered with a substantial 4mm wear layer, it provides greater resistance to temperature and humidity changes, making it an excellent choice for high-traffic hospitality environments. Wood flooring supports a clean, healthy indoor environment, and aligns with principles of biophilic design by bringing the calming beauty of nature indoors to foster a sense of comfort and connection.
