The framing of the house is supported by a Knightwall system that holds the cladding, the hidden gutters, and the intricate window structures, making this home extremely unique.
NIGIRI by reSAWN TIMBER co. features charred Accoya® wood burnt in the Japanese style of Shou Sugi Ban. NIGIRI can be used for interior or exterior wall cladding. Accoya wood is the result of decades of research and development that has brought together a long-established, extensively proven wood modification technique and leading-edge patented technology – acetylation to create a high performance wood, ideal for outdoor use and challenging applications.
LEWIS by reSAWN TIMBER co. features clear vertical grain WESTERN HEMLOCK with a ultra low (28g/L) VOC oil finish. LEWIS is appropriate for interior wall & ceiling cladding. It can be used for exterior applications on PROTECTED surfaces such as soffits to achieve a seamless interior/exterior aesthetic. LEWIS is standardly a Class B Fire Rating for interior applications.
