At the northern tip of Cape Cod, in Provincetown, Massachusetts, sits Pilgrim Heights. Shaped by its coastal setting and strong connection to the surrounding landscape, the home consists of two separate wings. The region’s historic architecture and demanding environmental conditions, including salt-air exposure, strong winds, and seasonal climate variation, required thoughtful material and construction decisions throughout the project. Special care was also taken during construction to preserve the surrounding coastal dunes, which serve as a natural protective barrier for the home.
Selected for its performance in coastal environments, SURETO supports long-term durability across the home’s exterior façade while maintaining a refined material palette throughout both the vertical and horizontal cladding applications. The cladding complements the surrounding landscape, allowing the architecture to respond naturally to changing light and weather conditions over time. Custom trim profiles and tailored board dimensions were also developed specifically for the project. Having collaborated with RESAWN on previous projects, the builder was already familiar with the product reliability, performance, and custom capabilities.
