Celebrating its 75th anniversary, the National Association of Home Builders is bringing together custom builders, contractors, architects, designers, and manufacturers at the Orange County Convention Center for its annual International Builders Show in Orlando, Florida. The three day event, from January 9th through January 11th, will see over 80,000 attendees cover 570,000 net square feet discovering new and innovative products in the architecture and building industries. With a 200 square foot booth, reSAWN TIMBER co. is excited to debut its 15 foot high, covered exhibit to showcase its natural wood flooring, shou sugi ban, wall cladding, exterior siding, and furniture.
reSAWN’s custom built booth is made entirely out of solid wood, and includes exterior siding and roof cladding made with AJI shou sugi ban Accoya and interior cladding made with TOREDO. The booth was designed by Coughlin Architecture and highlights the seamless transition between the siding and roof cladding. On the interior, the light color tone of TOREDO blends with unfinished Glu-Laminated timber studs, which accents the powder coated steel collar ties. In addition to the wall claddings, the booth will showcase various reSAWN sample boards, noteworthy installations, custom furniture, and Coughlin Architecture projects.
The use of Accoya wood for exterior and interior cladding combines reSAWN’s finishing techniques with a high performance, durable wood. Accoya® wood is the result of decades of research and development that has brought together a long-established, extensively proven wood modification technique and leading-edge patented technology – acetylation to create a high performance wood, ideal for outdoor use and challenging applications.
Located in southeastern Pennsylvania, reSAWN is perfectly situated to service commercial and residential building projects throughout the U.S. The solid wood manufacturer has placed a variety of products in hospitality interiors throughout the country, and the cladding, flooring, and furniture materials have been used in applications from hotel lobby walls to full single family homes.
The NAHB International Builders Show is set to begin at 9 A.M. on Tuesday January 9th.
