RSTco. furniture is custom built and finished in their wood shop from locally sourced and sustainably harvested wood species. they specialize in solid wood construction as well as using traditional joinery wherever possible. RSTco. offer a variety of finishes that are both durable and complimentary to the wood. other mediums in addition to wood are often incorporated into designs such as steel.

Toast Kitchen & Bar in Oakland, California was founded by Kristen Policy and Heather Sittig. A felled redwood tree from Kristen’s garden was sawn into slabs and used as tables tops, with Burrow sawhorses serving for the legs. This project also makes use of reclaimed bleacher boards from a local high school gym (complete with graffiti), and glasses and water bottles are all made from recycled glass.
