DISGAU and EwingCole collaborated on this project and specified reSAWN’s STEAMBOAT wide plank oak for ceiling cladding & millwork throughout Caesar Rodney Hall at the University of Delaware. STEAMBOAT is part of the RUSTIC MODERN collection which features uniquely prefinished character grade woods for flooring, wall cladding and ceiling cladding.
The new Caesar Rodney Hall was designed with the environment in mind. The project uses sustainable design principles in keeping with the US Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Program. Following these practices will not only have tangible benefits to students and the University, but will save every and cost over the life of the building. reSAWN’s locally sourced white oak and 100% VOC-free hardwax oil finish helped contribute to the sustainability profile of this facility.
